In this video, I am going to give you a simple and easy way to communicate easily and effectively with your audience in front of the camera.
When it comes to being in front of the camera and communicating with your audience, most people think that this is the same as public speaking where you are talking to a room of people.
Yes, I get it and lots of people have the fear of public speaking.
It may seem that you are talking to a group of people in front of the camera at first
I want to tell you now that this is a complete misunderstanding.
This is not public speaking.
You are actually talking to one person or two people at most if they are watching your video together at the same time.
Now that you understand that this is a personal conversation between you and the person watching you,
I am going to give a simple way to communicate well with that person.
Imagine this, you are now talking to a good friend
You want to recommend this good friend to watch your favourite movie that is now showing in the cinema.
How will you do it?
You will be so passionate and excited to share some information about the movie right?
Just think of that one person in your audience as this good friend and do the same thing.
Just simply replace the information about the movie with the information about the offer that you want to promote and you are good to go.
While you are communicating, it is advisable to use emotional benefits rather than features to get your point across.
For example, you will hardly talk about the technical details behind the movie and usually talk about the emotions you get while watching the movie right?
Like …. This movie is really exciting, this movie is really sad, this movie is really scary, this movie is really touching, and so on.
All of these are emotions.
To use this method effectively, first of all, you must use and love the product or service that you want to promote.
So that you know what you are talking about and have passion and excitement to share it
Yes, you may try to fake your way through the video but some people can notice that immediately.
Remember, real passion and excitement cannot be faked and those are the things that attract people to you.
Because at the end of the day, people don’t just buy into the offer you are promoting, they buy into your personality, your vision, basically you.
